旧县村是福建省南平市松溪县旧县乡下辖的行政村，也是乡政府所在地，位于省道803沿线，离县城约15公里[1]。

村名来自此地作为县治的历史：五代时这里曾设松源县，县治迁走后当地被称为“故县”，民国时改名旧县[1][2]。

地名由来[edit]

村子早先的曾用名为县浣街。五代后晋天福六年（941年）立为松源镇，951年松源镇升为松源县，县城设在今旧县乡政府所在地。北宋初县治迁往松源（今松源街道）后，此地被称作“故县街”，简称“故县”，民国时改称旧县[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村落始建于宋代，隶属东平乡皈伏里十三都；1936年设旧县保。1958年此地归入红旗公社，设旧县大队；1961年改称旧县小公社；1966年恢复为旧县公社，下辖旧县大队；1984年政社分开，乡级建制恢复，大队改为村[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，爱卫办将旧县村定为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。

概况[edit]

自2010年起，县里把本村确定为社会主义新农村建设的试点。村内东畲自然村是老区基点村[1]。
