前坑村位于茶平乡南部，距松溪县城约8千米。自2011年起，县里把它列为社会主义新农村建设的中心村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此村的前身可以追溯到清朝，原属东平乡东关里四都。民国时期编入第四联保，其后归㮐坪乡前屯保管辖。1950年它是吴屯乡下的前坑村；1958年划入红旗公社，成为前坑大队；1961年改称茶平乡前坑大队。1984年恢复乡制，大队改为村，名为前坑村。[1]

自然村[edit]

村内有葛畲、前坑、范坑三个自然村，其中葛畲位于湛卢山脚下。村民的收入主要来自茶叶、蔬菜、烟叶和粮食。[2]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，前坑村入选「2022年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单。[1]
