华桥村是华桥乡政府所在地，位于光泽县西北部，距县城15公里。316国道从村中经过，鹰厦铁路横贯村的南北，村内乡村道路大多已经水泥硬化，对外交通比较便利。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村中山林约17876亩，耕地3692亩；村庄辖有7个自然村，分为13个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
1958年先设华桥公社，之后改称红旗公社；1964年恢复华桥公社，1984年改为现名。[1]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月，将华桥村评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月，把华桥村列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。同年12月，福建省绿化委员会授予华桥村「2022年福建省森林村庄」称号。[1]
