华桥乡是福建省南平市光泽县下辖的乡，位于县境西北部，乡政府驻华桥村。乡境东与崇仁乡、东南与鸾凤乡、南与止马镇相邻，西面和北面与江西省资溪县交界。全乡辖12个行政村，村庄多分布在山坳和溪流沿岸。[1][2][3][4]

乡内的铁牛关是闽赣之间的古关隘遗址，牛田村的东路军指挥所旧址是中央红军时期留下的革命旧址，已列为福建省级文物保护单位。[9][10][11]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，今华桥乡境域分属永福里、招德里和安福里的十二、十三、十四、十五、十六、二十七等都。[6][7] 民国时期这一带先属止马区。1934年10月，有六个村被并入江西省资溪县的管辖范围，它们分别是牛田、增坊、古林、园岱、铁关和大禾山，直到1948年3月才随止马区一同回到光泽。[7]

新中国成立后，这里先归止马区，次年二月另设华桥区，1958年组成人民公社。1972年，境内两个大队转给崇仁公社，另两个转给止马公社。1984年9月，公社建制撤销，原来的地名得以恢复，改设为乡。[6][7]

地名来自一座单拱石桥，据博雅地名网记载，明正德十二年（1517年）县令钟华主持建成此桥，桥原名「花桥」，今写作「华」是音讹，乡政府驻地的村子也因此名为华桥村。[3]

2014年6月，华桥乡获环境保护部授予的「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。2020年12月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」；2021年12月，被确定为「2021年度南平市平安农机示范乡镇」；2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2023年12月，被命名为「2023年度福建省森林乡镇」。[3]

地理环境[edit]

华桥乡地处闽赣交界的山区，西北部为峰岭，平均海拔约千米，最高山峰海拔1324米；东南部是丘陵和谷地，地形呈凹字形。全乡总面积304.86平方千米。[1][2]

乡境溪流较多，增坊溪是信江流域的一条支流，小际水库则是乡政府驻地集镇以及官屯、吴屯两村两千余户居民的饮用水源。[5] 乡境属亚热带季风湿润气候，年平均气温约17℃，年降水量约1840毫米，全年无霜期约230天。[1][2]

鹰厦铁路和316国道贯穿乡境，邵资高速途经石壁窟、邓家边、园岱、铁关四村。[2][8] 乡内的矿产有瓷土、矿泉水和花岗岩，其中花岗岩以「铁关红」之名在闽北有名。[2]

人口民族[edit]

2019年末户籍人口为21384人。[1] 2020年11月1日的常住人口为8735人。[2]

华桥乡除汉族外，还有畲族、苗族等少数民族，乡中保存着一部清乾隆二年的畲族族谱。[2]

经济[edit]

乡民以农业为主，水稻、烟叶和药材是主要作物，华桥村的群众历来有种植厚朴、杜仲等药材的习惯。[3] 集镇所在的华桥村乡村道路大多已经水泥硬化，对外交通比较便利。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

铁牛关位于西北部的铁关村，据博雅地名网记载，它于唐广明元年（880年）建在大禾山铁牛岭，清顺治四年迁到现址，咸丰三年和七年先后重修。关墙、关门和刻有「铁牛关」字样的石匾今仍可见，2019年公布为县级文物。[9][11][12]

牛田东路军指挥所旧址建于1932年至1933年间，当年中央红军在第四、五次反“围剿”中于此设置指挥机关，旁边还有兵站、红军医院等设施。旧址于2013年列为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[10]

茅店窑址位于大禾山村，是一处宋代瓷窑遗址。[13]
