长源村是光泽县李坊乡的行政村，位于光泽县南部，与邵武市接壤，北距县城30公里。[1] 村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是村前有一条河，水源丰沛，泉水长流。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年，村地属埠头乡。1954年设乡，乡政府驻长源自然村，属管蜜区；1959年乡政府迁往严坑村，1963年以后驻湾桥。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子三面环水，河水清澈，流入闽江流域；因河道蜿蜒折叠，当地有“小九曲”之称。[2]

村内山林广阔，竹山较多，是乡内森林面积最大的行政村。[2]
