黄溪村位于光泽县西北部，离县城约12公里，隶属鸾凤镇，村中有9个自然村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子东面与双门村接壤，南面与大洋村相邻，西面与止马镇水口村相接，北面与官屯、吴屯两村接界。村域平均海拔259米，全村的总面积是31969亩，其中耕地3353.36亩，林业用地29470亩。[1]

村名的由来，据博雅地名网：「黄」形容此处地形像一只体型浑圆的黄鸡，「溪」即小河沟，村民沿溪流周边聚居而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1979年村里设大队，1984年才成为村。[1]

文化[edit]

全国乡村治理示范村的称号，黄溪村是在2019年12月获得的。[1]

2020年11月，村子上榜南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版名单；2020年12月又入选福建省「一村一品」示范村（蔬菜）名单。2021年11月，村子被省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
