北坑村位于濠村乡北部，与松溪、建阳、浦城三县（市）交界，全村辖5个自然村。村内仙山岗上的天山庙是县级文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名因驻地所在的一片村落而来，这片村落包括上村、谷丘、外桥三处。[1]

解放前归水吉县外屯乡管辖，建国初隶属水吉县第三区。1956年转属浦城县石陂区，1958年设北坑大队（属石陂公社），1961年归濠村公社，1984年改为濠村乡北坑村村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

仙山岗上的天山庙是「中共建松政中心县委、特委及中共政和县委机关旧址」。庙宇为土木结构，大殿面阔十四间，殿内供奉多尊佛像。1935年11月起，中共建松政中心县委机关迁到仙山岗，此后县委与特委机关曾先后设于此地。该处为县级文物保护单位。[2][1]

村内林地上种有锥栗和毛竹，村中有北坑小学。[1]
