溪口村在浦城县最南端，南面与建阳市相邻，205国道沿村穿行，南浦溪在村边流过，全村辖5个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

蒋姓先民最先在此定居，南浦溪与中村溪在此相会，村名因而叫蒋溪口，之后省称溪口。[1]

民国时属水吉县回龙区濠村乡，建国初先后属水吉县第三区的回龙区。1956年划归浦城县石陂区，1958年设石陂公社溪口大队，1961年归濠村公社，1984年定名为濠村乡溪口村村民委员会。[1]

福建省农业农村厅在2022年10月认定溪口村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；福建省爱国卫生运动委员会在同年12月把溪口村命名为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]

村中每逢农历三、八日为墟日。[1]
