铁坑村是浦城县山下乡的行政村，被市里授予革命老区根据地之一的称号。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村中有挖掘铁矿石的大坑道，村名由此而来。[1]

民国时期已属山下乡，1949年归县内第四区。1951年改属第五区的铁场乡，1956年又划为临江区的一部分，铁场乡之后归于临江公社。1961年另设铁坑大队，隶属山下公社；1984年改设铁坑村村民委员会，仍属山下乡。[1]

2020年11月，入选「2020年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村东与临江镇井栏相邻，南面与石陂镇的布墩村接壤，西与源头村为界，北与铁场村相连。全村辖6个自然村、10个村民小组。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村内耕地12420亩，林地15000亩，其中毛竹山3000亩。烤烟作为村中的支柱产业，此外有食用菌。[1]
