水门村是浦城县山下乡的行政村，村中溪流穿村而过。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

相传村对面的灯盏山易引发火灾，村名带“水”字可以克火，村中又有溪流，因此得名。[1]

民国时期已属山下乡。1958年设水门大队，归临江公社；1961年改属山下公社；1964年经调整后迁至雷公桥一带，仍称水门大队；1984年改设水门村村民委员会，隶属山下乡。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村东邻铁场村，南临山下村，西与枫溪乡的五基凹岗为界，北与永兴镇的高门顶尖岗为界。村内有通往枫溪乡的县道，除官岭头外，其余自然村道路已硬化。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村内耕地2120亩，森林覆盖率80%，林地面积18568亩；主产毛竹、竹笋、竹荪、香菇和黑木耳。[1]
