地名由来[edit]
村前是山岗，村子建在岗上，故名岗里。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时属洋溪乡。解放初年（1951年）归第六区洋溪乡管辖；1958年划入永兴公社；1961年改隶洋溪公社，设岗里大队；1965年转属古楼公社；1984年成为古楼乡下辖的岗里村村民委员会。[2]
古道与古迹[edit]
村中有一条千年石阶古道，自古通往崇安，全程约80华里，是浦城通往武夷山的咽喉要道。溪洲一带有古卷桥。[1]
村中原有贞节碑与皇帝颁发的功德碑，“文革”期间被毁，遗址尚可辨认。解放军将领吴森亚是本村人。[1]
革命历史[edit]
1932年8月19日，方志敏率红军由崇安南北专区根据地过来，经过岗里一带，随即攻打浦城县城。[1]
自然资源[edit]
本村毛竹山场有四千余亩，另有邻村插花的毛竹山与流入本村的毛竹山近两千亩，杉、松等用材林约1.5万亩。[1]
