大洋村位于浦城县西北部，距县城50公里，距乡政府8.5公里，面积4.5平方千米，下辖12个自然村。村内的查源洞古矿场为县级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

村子依溪而建，溪畔一带地势平坦、土地宽阔，村名由此而来。[2]

少数民族与古民居[edit]

大洋村属少数民族村，留墩小组为畲族蓝姓村民聚居处，保存有清代古民居与蓝氏家谱。[1]

查源洞矿冶遗址[edit]

查源洞矿冶遗址位于羊角尖山，海拔908米，由矿井与冶炼两部分组成。矿洞共百余个，分布在山腰与山脚；管查村口另有冶炼场地，矿渣堆积其间，也见明代瓷器碎片。[1][3]

博雅地名网的文化条目记查源洞古矿场的时代为明代，本村概况则称之为宋代铜矿冶遗址，两说并存。[1][4]
