富源村位于九牧镇中南部，距205国道约1公里。村落面积约5.8平方千米，海拔460米。村名来自一处水源的名字。[1][3]

名称由来[edit]

相传村中缺水，傅氏与祝氏共同开发了一处水源，名为傅祝源，村名即由此定下。此后，这一水源名称谐音成「富足源」，又缩写为富源，村委会便设在此处。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1998年6月，富源村村民委员会改属九牧镇。1984年改属九牧乡，称富源村村民委员会。1961年从中分出富源大队，归九牧公社管辖。民国时隶属九牧乡，1951年归第八区，次年改归第九区的九墩乡。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，爱卫部门把富源村评定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2023年10月，富源村入选「2023年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单。[1]
