双墩村是水北街镇下辖的行政村[1]。民国时属观前乡，1952年一度设双墩乡，1958年归观前公社，1966年改属水北公社[1]。1981年起隶属水北街公社，1984年设村民委员会，1993年乡改镇后仍称双墩村村民委员会[1]。
