上洋村为仙阳镇的山区村，位于武夷山余脉的八台尖山脚，离集镇约15公里，离县城约30公里，下辖4个自然村[1]。村子建在千米高山上，四周有三条较为平坦开阔的田垄，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属招贤乡，此后曾隶属巽源乡、上洋乡和阳墩公社；1958年为仙阳公社的上洋大队，1965年再归仙阳公社，1984年更为现名[1]。

文化[edit]

村中有一棵珍稀树种红豆杉，相传是开族祖婆下葬时子孙所栽。象祠内供奉杨亿、杨倬等祖先的牌位，并保存着记载杨震、杨载等名人的家谱[2]。
