下洋村位于浦城县中部，属仙阳镇，距县城15公里，下辖6个自然村[1]。村内的猫耳山遗址是商代遗址，2013年公布为第七批全国重点文物保护单位[2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：村前有溪，村后有坡，溪水泛滥时如同海洋，故名下洋[1]。民国时隶属仙阳镇，此后数次改隶仙阳乡、仙阳区；1958年为仙阳公社下洋大队，1984年改为现名[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

猫耳山遗址位于猫耳弄山一带，遗迹分布在山丘上，占地约100万平方米[2][3]。2005年至2006年的发掘中，发现早期陶窑9座，其中2座为斜坡式长条形龙窑，另有新石器时代墓葬2座和商代墓葬21座，以及大量石器、陶器和陶片[3]。龙窑被认为是国内首次发现的商代早期原始龙窑[2]。
