高坑村是临江镇下辖的行政村，花崇线省道穿村而过。据博雅地名网，村子位于乌岩岗山的一条山坑之中，村名与此相关。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属临江镇。1950年代先后隶属临江乡、第三区和临江区，1958年属临江公社，1961年设高坑大队，1984年设高坑村村民委员会，隶属临江镇。[4]

2022年12月，高坑村被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会定为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
