樟山村是临江镇下辖的行政村。村名的来由是：先因蔡姓村民迁入而称蔡村，后因张姓人口较多改称张山，又因村口有大樟树，最终定名樟山。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时属临江镇。1950年仍属临江镇，1951年归第三区公所，隶属樟山乡，1955年续属樟山乡，1956年改归临江区，1958年设临江公社樟山大队，1984年设樟山村村民委员会，隶属临江镇。[3]
2022年12月，樟山村被命名为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
