富岭村是富岭镇的中心村，旧称富岭街，是村委会驻地，也是镇政府所在地。村名与村中两处潭水有关：珍珠潭和皎石潭，以「富」为象征，旧街道上一段石级称为「岭」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明、清时期属泰宁里，民国属富岭镇。1949年至1956年间先后隶属富岭镇、富岭区，1958年为富岭公社的富岭大队，1984年改为今名。[1]
2021年11月，村里获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域下辖富岭、过村、蜈蚣山等6个自然村，编为15个村民小组。[1]

2012年，村内有838户农家，人口2719人，其中880人外出。[1]
