河墩村位于顺昌县城西北，村部设在上河墩与下河墩交界处。村下辖五个自然村：上河墩、埂头、下河墩、东风村和西坑。[2]
村后山的后山古窑址属宋元时期，已列为县级文物保护单位。[3]
2009年9月，村部由上河墩迁到现址；同年12月，全村有476户、1959人。[2]
