赤岸村是建阳区崇泰街道的一个行政村，地处崇阳溪东岸的河谷盆地，地势平坦。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村名来自一则流传的说法，指当地旱年多、河岸干燥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2022年2月23日起，赤岸村归崇泰街道管辖；此前的2003年后属童游街道，1984年由赤岸大队改为赤岸村，属童游乡。[2][3]

1952年初设赤岸乡，属二区（将口）；1958年10月成立赤岸大队，隶属城关公社。[2]

明清时期村地属崇仁德里。民国时期先后隶属一区彭墩乡、彭墩联保和彭墩乡，直到民国38年前建制未变。[2]

经济[edit]

村民收入以种植蔬菜为主，也从事运输和经商。[1]

2023年9月发布的征地区片通知中，赤岸村仍属崇泰街道。[4]
