大洋村位于茫荡镇中北部，村名取自1508年由岩头迁来时所称的“大洋玢”。村下辖上竹坪、下竹坪两个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年改属大洋公社，称大洋大队；1984年撤社建乡，成为大洋乡下辖的大洋村；2002年大洋乡与茂地镇合并组建茫荡镇，大洋村随之属茫荡镇。[1][2]

文化遗产[edit]

大洋振纲家塾为清代建筑，大洋文明塔建于1921年，为民国时期建造，用以收存字纸焚后的灰烬。两处均见于2012年延平区不可移动文物名录。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予大洋村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
