明洋村位于南山镇东北部，面积为2.3144万亩，共333户、1390人，下设4个自然村。村名寓意山高日月明亮、似海洋一般，1948年中共闽浙赣省委在此召开扩党练干会议。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的寓意见于博雅地名网：山高，日月明亮，如海洋一般。明洪武元年（1368年）属普安里，清代沿袭。民国时期此地为大凤镇管辖下的明洋保，1949年改称明洋村，1954年设明洋乡，1958年称明洋大队，1961年改属江边公社，1963年并入大凤公社，1984年改为明洋村村民委员会。[1][2]

1947年，建瓯县委在明洋设立。1987年，明洋村被福建省评定为老区基点村。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

1948年4月至5月，中共闽浙赣省委在明洋杜嵩岭的李家祠堂召开扩党练干会议，即南平会议。该会址原为李氏祠堂，为木构民房，占地六十平方米；据2012年名录列为区级文物保护单位，据百度百科则称1982年列为市级文物保护单位。[3][4]
