溪口村位于樟湖集镇北岸，村名因村庄建在溪流出口而得。博雅地名网称其为水口库区最大的移民村，村中的崇蛙民俗保存完整。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是村庄建在溪流的出口处。[1]

明初（洪武元年，1368年）起隶属南平县垂裕乡。1934年划入第三区樟湖镇，此后分为溪口上下二保，归第三区新溪乡；1954年称溪口乡；1958年称溪口大队；1984年改称溪口村委会。[1]

2021年11月，溪口村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

文化[edit]

村中的崇蛙民俗保存完整，据博雅地名网，该民俗于2005年获评福建省级非遗（第一批）。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

溪口泰山庙为清代建筑，列入2012年的延平区文物普查不可移动文物名录。[3]

著名人物[edit]

廖玉通（1853—1924）为溪口村人，自幼善水，曾潜入江底为过往船只打捞沉物，以此为闽江沿岸的人所知。[4]
