东富村地处镇域西侧，山脚靠近大芹山，属革命老区。[4]

村名原作「东」，因旧时小溪涧出口处落差较大而得名；后又加「富」字，寄寓村民富裕的愿望。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年属下北保，1950年归第六区下北乡，1958年为东富大队，1984年改设东富村委会。[2]
