城西村位于九峰镇区西侧，靠近镇中心，因在九峰城西门一带而得名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年归九峰镇辖；1950年隶属第六区九峰乡；1958年为九峰公社胜利大队，此后并入九峰大队。1984年4月改设城西村委会，地名此后沿用未变。[2]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村6个村民小组，总人口1380多人（年份未注），山地2000多亩，耕地350多亩。山地多种蜜柚和白芽奇兰茶。[1]

2011年，农民人均收入在8000元以上，经济以农业与商业相结合。[1]

文物古迹[edit]

九峰追来堂在村内，始建于清代，雍正六年（1728年）扩建，此后多次修缮，建筑为三进悬山顶式，2013年被定为「福建省第八批省级文物保护单位」。[4]
