湖田村隶属于平和县小溪镇，位于镇东部[1][2]。

名称由来[edit]

村地地形似湖，田地较多，村部设在湖田自然村，村名因此定为湖田[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1945年村属琯溪镇；1950年改为第一区东溪乡辖地，1957年划归山格公社的东溪大队，1962年改属城关公社，此时称湖田大队。1984年属城关乡，改为湖田村委会，1987年并入小溪镇。2009年，村址由旧址迁至现址[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2024年2月，湖田村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象[1]。
