西埔镇是福建省漳州市东山县下辖的镇，位于东山岛中部，是东山县城所在地，县政府、县人民法院和公安机关的地方机构都设在这里。[1]

据东山县人民政府2023年6月发布的镇概况，全镇面积39.03平方千米，共15603户、52654人，下辖13个行政村和4个社区，在全县居于政治、经济、文化、教育与交通的中心位置。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，西埔一带属漳浦县五都，清初设立圩市，以农历三、六、九日为集期。[3]

1956年3月，县级机关从铜陵迁入西埔，此后西埔一直是县城所在地。[4]

1958年，西埔设立人民公社；1984年10月撤销公社，改设西埔镇，原大队改为村。[4]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于东山岛中部，南、东两面临海；西南接陈城镇，西北与杏陈镇相连，东北连樟塘镇，西面与前楼镇为邻。[5]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，镇内以水产品精深加工和能源化工为支柱产业。西埔工业区始建于1995年，2001年被列为省级工业园区建设基地，2004年被列为省级水产品精深加工示范区。[6]

东南部的冬古一带另规划有港口临港经济区，依托冬古港的水深条件发展。[6]

基础设施[edit]

冬古设有5000吨级硅砂码头，另有3000吨级杂货码头和渔港，可停靠6000吨级货轮。镇内有3座110千伏输变电站和1座220千伏输变电站。[2]

生态环境[edit]

镇内创建了石埔国家级生态村，梧龙、亲营、宅山等9个村为省级生态村；石埔、冬古获市级生态森林景观村落称号。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

苏峰山为东山岛主峰，海拔274.3米，是东山县的最高点，镇辖区内拥有苏峰山景区。[7][2]

石庙山位于顶西村，山上的明代石庙供奉三山国王与南海观音，东南亚华侨信奉者众。[8][9]

西山岩坪院始建于宋代，位于石埔村的西山岩群峰之中，景区内另有明代城址遗迹。[2][10]

梧龙村的林氏家庙又名作求堂，明代始建，清代与民国时期两次重修，为福建省级文物保护单位。[11][12]

亲营村有宋司礼监墓，墓主潘穆齐据载在宋末为赵昺殉难，该墓为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[13][14]

文化[edit]

据政府网站所载，西埔镇先后获得国家级生态乡镇、省级卫生县城、省级园林县城等称号，梧龙村入选中国传统村落名录，冬古村入选省级传统村落名录。[2]
