塘西村位于白洋乡境内，靠近诏平线，村部驻塘西自然村，村名由此而来。[1]

经济[edit]

村内土地肥沃，近年发展大棚蔬菜、马铃薯等特色农业，村里有蔬菜专业合作社带动社员种植，大棚蔬菜种植面积已有300亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年1月，塘西村被认定为「漳州市2020年度市级“一村一品”示范村」，主打产品为蔬菜。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

塘西慈云院为宋代建筑，位于塘西村，2013年4月17日列为县级文物保护单位（诏安县第十四批）。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年7月，塘西村划归白洋乡。此前，1984年10月政社分开后属西潭乡塘西村；1964年4月撤区并社后为西潭人民公社塘西大队；1961年体制下放后为西潭公社塘西大队，1958年9月起先后属幸福人民公社和红旗人民公社。解放初归第三区的塘桥乡，1952年初改属第五区，1955年6月又划入西潭区的塘西乡。[1]
