北坑村位于秀篆镇西侧，离镇区约2公里，坐落在犁峰山下。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年此地属第六区北安乡，1951年归第七区，1952年归第九区北安乡。1955年设秀篆区北坑乡。[1]

1958年划入和平人民公社，设北坑大队；1961年起隶属秀篆公社北坑大队。1984年起为秀篆乡北坑大队，1992年起为秀篆镇北坑村。[1]
