上湖村是诏安县四都镇的行政村，驻地在上湖自然村，村名由此而来。村民多为胡姓，村中保存有清代的关帝庙，该庙已列为县级文物。[1][2]

人口与村情[edit]

博雅地名网所载全村总人口7661人，设村民小组66个，共2139户，未注年份。村内以农业为主，并有水产养殖与林果。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前上湖为上湖乡旧地，编为三保。1956年6月并入辉煌高级社，此后归太阳升人民公社的上湖管理区管辖。1961年5月起隶属上湖公社，1964年改称上湖大队，1984年11月定为四都镇上湖村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

上湖关帝庙位于村南，为清代建筑。2013年4月公布为县级文物保护单位，庙墙外延的保护范围为东面50米，其余各方向3米至2米不等。[1][2]

人物[edit]

博雅地名网称，明代上湖出过胡文、胡鳌、胡丹诏等进士。[1]

荣誉称号[edit]

该村于2021年11月获省爱卫部门命名，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
