赤土村是福建省漳州市漳浦县赤土乡的行政村，属乡中心区，乡公所所在的赤土岭一带即在村境内。村名沿用自此地的旧称。[1]

福建省农业农村厅在2022年10月将赤土村列为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此处为南北向的丘陵，土质纯黄，原称赤土岭。乡公所设在赤土岭，地名就此沿用。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年设立四股乡，1944年四股乡与海乌乡合并为浯江乡，赤土岭为乡公所所在地。1956年10月，浯江区并入旧镇区，赤土岭乡并入荷山乡。[1]

1958年9月，设旧镇公社赤土管理区，下辖赤土大队；1961年7月管理区升格为赤土公社。1984年9月，大队改为赤土村。[1]
