城内村是湖西畲族乡下辖的行政村，乡人民政府驻地就在村中丹湖路70号，村内有清代的诒安堡。[1][6]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网，是清代黄姓乡贤黄性震建起围城供族人聚居，称之为诒安城，又因村委会设在诒安城（湖西堡）之内，遂称城内。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，城内隶属赤湖区第六区，1952年划入第十区。[1] 1958年9月设城内生产大队；1984年8月改称城内村，同年12月乡名改为湖西畲族乡。[1][6]

名胜古迹[edit]

诒安堡由清代官员黄性震捐建，平面呈锁形，城墙周长1200米，墙上开有365个垛口，堡内现存95座民宅，并保留黄氏宗祠。[2][3][4]

城中的诒安堡被列为第五批全国重点文物保护单位；据县政府网站，它与赵家堡、蓝廷珍府第同属乡内三处国家级重点文物保护单位。[2][5]

荣誉[edit]

城内村在2015年10月进入「福建省传统村落」首批名录，2016年12月又进入「中国传统村落」第四批名录。[5][1]
