龙口村位于古雷半岛南部，北邻半湖村，西邻西辽村，东面临浮头湾，西侧也临东山湾。村名原作龙湖口，后简称龙口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄背靠古雷山脉，山势起伏如龙，村前有湖，又近出海口，最初取名龙湖口，之后简称龙口。[1]

1955年11月村子由东山县归入漳浦，属古雷地区七乡之一。1958年9月编入杜浔公社古雷管理区，设龙口大队；1961年7月由古雷公社接管；1984年9月撤社建乡，成为古雷乡（后改镇）的龙口村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

滩涂与浅海养着牡蛎、海带、扇贝、鲍鱼和对虾；耕地种芦笋、番薯、花生，山地多用于造林。[1]

文化[edit]

龙口小学于1995年新建校舍。[1]
