港口村在古雷镇北部，北面紧接西林村，南面与下堀村相接，村名来自临海的一处港口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来源于临海的港口。1955年11月由东山县改隶漳浦县，归入古雷地区七乡之中。[1]

1958年9月编入杜浔公社古雷管理区的港口大队，1961年7月改由古雷公社领导。1984年9月撤社建乡后，本村属古雷乡（后改镇），村名至今未变。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子东面的浮头湾当地称后江，西面是东山湾，当地称前江。新杜古线穿村而过，村内自修的简易公路接连杜古线，并通往西田与后江一带。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，渔业为辅。耕地中水田不多，农地居多，沙滩上另有林地；作物以番薯、芦笋、葱蒜、蔬菜和西瓜为主，涂滩则养殖牡蛎、对虾、花蛤和泥蚶。[1]
