大社村是福建省漳州市漳浦县前亭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇境西部，是镇内的政治、经济与文化中心，前亭镇人民政府也设在村内。全村只有1个自然村，村域面积8.2平方公里。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村庄原名狮厝头。明朝时，漳浦黄姓有「五都」之称，这里是黄姓最先开居建厝的地方，故称狮厝头。后来聚居人口增多，成为本地最大的村社，便以「大社」为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，村域属二十三都安仁乡沙澳里。元代另设沙滨里，明代仍沿元制。清初，二十三都辖沙澳等十一保，村庄古名狮厝头，位于嘉宾乡钦贤里之下。[2]

民国时期，村先归前亭保；1940年改隶前江乡，1944年随前江乡并入前坪乡。1950年10月划为前亭墟乡，1956年并入前亭乡，1958年9月成为佛昙公社前亭管理区的生产大队。1961年8月改属前亭公社，1984年9月改为大社村，1992年2月隶属前亭镇。[2]

前亭镇政府在2005年11月迁入大社村。[2]

地理环境[edit]

大社村属丘陵地带，北高南低、西高东低。主要山脉有美山和虎形山，东部前棣、西部后棣与南部前亭港均为淤泥滩涂。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

2011年末的统计为1180户，居民4259人，另有约350名外来人口；耕地4467.2亩，园地788.7亩。主要作物有水稻、甘薯和蔬菜，海产以咸水鱼、虾和花蛤为主。[2]

1994年，在大社与庄厝两村之间建成千米长堤，围垦出「花厝垦区」约3000亩，位于村南部。2004年，湘电风能（福建）有限公司落户村内。[2]

教育与设施[edit]

村内有大社小学和大社幼儿园。村中还设有车站、变电站和水厂各一处；市道港佛线与省道漳东线在此相交，是镇内的交通枢纽。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

鄂华堂是黄氏大宗祠，1572年（明隆庆元年）开始兴建，现存建筑面积629.6平方米。每年正月十五前后，黄氏族人在祠前张灯、举火；周边多处黄氏人家的新婚与添丁者也来此举行「穿丁脚」仪式。[2]

衍昌堂为明代所建，坐落在山仔尾，面积约300平方米。[2]

历史人物[edit]

陈国器，字鼎弼，天启二年（1622年）考中进士，崇祯七年出任刑部主事，时人称他「石鼓进士」。归乡后，乡民为他立碑建亭，即石鼓亭。[2]

近代往事[edit]

1900年（光绪二十六年），鼠疫由归侨林敏政家中传出，蔓延到邻近乡村和全县，次年正月死者逾千人。村内后人、埔上等几个自然村也在疫情中消失。[2]

1945年7月，侵华日军一支先头部队进犯前亭乡，村内妇女被关押，财物被抢劫。[2]
