原村址上曾有一座古楼，村名由此而来。[1]

沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记，公元1403年，林姓族人自平和县的南胜、法华迁居于此。1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

生产与名胜[edit]

村民以香蕉、枇杷、青枣的种植和外出务工为生，农民人均收入8328元。境内有小（一）型的百花洋水库。[1]

村中古迹有白云寺、帝昺井、古楼威惠庙、积庆楼遗迹和观音亭旧址。[1]
