村址在溪边的渡口，早先称溪州村，后改为溪口村。[1]

历史与建筑[edit]

村内留有明清时期的古民居，其中有四角楼、九间楼、景阳楼，以及麟游鹊起大厝等设计独特的建筑。[1]

2019年6月，溪口村列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
