大山顶村位于陈岱镇东北的山区，四周群山环绕，与列屿镇和常山华侨农场相接，辖山坪、大山顶两个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村落建在大尖山南侧山腰的坡地上，所在的坡头是周围山地中最高的地方，于是取名大山顶。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年，区乡合并时，山坪被划归陈岱区的岱屿镇；1961年，村划入陈岱公社并称大山顶大队；1984年，公社改为镇，大队变为村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月将大山顶村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
