凤鸣村位于东园镇东部，隔凫溪与浮宫镇浮宫村相望。村子西至峨浪山顶，与南边村、港边村接壤，南邻凤山村，北邻厚境村和田厝村。全村辖埔兜、岭后、阳光、宁安4个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初期，岭后、阳光二社称岭后保，埔兜、宁安二社与今厚境村的双凤社合称双凤保。民国36年属峨山乡。[1]

1958年属东园乡，同年归卫星人民公社；1959年为浮宫公社凤山大队的一部分，1960年分出另设凤鸣大队。1984年改为东园乡凤鸣村，1992年改为东园镇凤鸣村。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

埔兜、岭后为陈姓聚居地，陈姓占全村总人口的57%。阳光社为蒋姓，宁安社为洪姓。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

岭后威惠庙建于北宋政和二年（1112年），庙体坐北向南，一进结构，主祀开漳圣王、马仁、李伯瑶。1997年，该庙被列为龙海市级文物保护单位。[1]

宁安崇真院位于宁安路口，建筑年代不详，主祀上帝、保生大帝、法子爷与辅信爷。[1]

岭后陈氏家庙建于清初，1992年重修，2005年按原貌再修。宁安洪氏家庙建于清朝，2000年重修。[1]

文化[edit]

凤鸣小学迁到全村中心、镇道东凤公路边，建有宿舍、教学楼与球场，是一所省级农村示范学校。[1]
