城内村在浒茂岛西部，南面临着九龙江，北面隔北港与对岸相望，是紫泥镇人民政府的驻地。[1][2][3]

全村总面积22平方公里，共1390户5438人，以林姓为主。[1][2]

建制变迁[edit]

明嘉靖年间，这里属龙溪县二十八都的浒茂社。清乾隆二十七年（1762年），改归二十八都浒茂保管辖。[2]

民国时期隶属龙溪县第六区，民国36年划为浒茂乡。1952年设第四区城内乡，1955年归城内区。[2]

1956年3月，城内区改入平宁区，此地随之成为平宁区的城内乡。1958年4月撤区并乡，同年9月归海鹰公社。1959年3月设紫泥公社城内大队，1984年建乡后称紫泥乡城内村，1992年撤乡建镇。[2]

1992年划分出庵前、过港、过刈、港尾、钱厝、南社、东社七个角落。[2]

姓氏与人物[edit]

林姓占全村人口的大多数，多居于庵前、过港、过刈和东社。明初，林孔怀迁入本村，是浒茂林氏的始祖。[2]

周姓集中在港尾社，其入闽始祖随陈元光入闽。元朝时，周开兴在浒茂城内港尾开基。钱姓居于钱厝社，源流不详，元朝间迁入。[2]

浒茂城内人林秉祥（1873年至1944年）早年赴新加坡，经营丰源航务局，后改组为和丰轮船公司。他又把银行业务改组，创办了华侨银行有限公司。[3]

宗祠与宫庙[edit]

港尾社的周氏祠堂东瀛堂，始建于1684年（清康熙甲子年），供奉开基始祖周开兴。钱氏祠堂崇本堂位于钱厝社，2006年修葺，供奉钱武肃王。[2]

林氏祠堂世泽堂始建于明初，1975年拆建为城内小学，至今尚未重建。[2]

凤林宫位于庵前角落，原名永寿宫，祀玄天上帝与保生大帝，宫中存有清乾隆丙申年（1776年）刻字的石香炉。南兴宫位于南社，祀奉与凤林宫相同，存有嘉庆丁丑年（1817年）石香炉。锦里宫位于港尾社，始建于清康熙年间。[2]

经济[edit]

农业调整后，村中既有水田，也有鱼塘和高优经济作物。村内驻有镇属机关和企事业单位，设有卫生保健院、信用社、供销社、粮站，还有中心小学和浒茂中学。[2]
