石牌村是颜厝镇下辖的镇中心区村。村名取自庙前竖立的石牌：村中庙宇供奉圣王公，庙名兴福堂，石牌立于其侧。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1947年，村地归龙溪县古南乡后石保管辖。1974年，颜厝公社另设石牌大队。[1]

1993年起，村委会称龙海市颜厝镇村委会。[1]
