上坪村位于漳州市龙海区程溪镇，是镇内的一个行政村，村名因群山之中村址地势平坦而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝初年，陈氏迁到山上定居。村庄周围群山环抱，村址却较为平坦，因而称上坪。[1]

旧属南靖县程塔乡上坪保；新中国成立初为南靖县第六区上坪乡。1957年改属龙溪县，公社时期为程溪公社上坪大队，1960年并县后仍属程溪公社。1984年成为程溪乡上坪村，1988年改为程溪镇上坪村委会。[1]
