郊边村是白水镇的行政村，以杨梅种植为主要产业，与金鳌、山美、西凤、井园等村相邻。村庄在山坑沟边，原名沟边，后因与「郊边」谐音而改用此名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

旧属海澄县白水镇郊边保，1952年为第五区白水镇郊边乡，1959年归浮宫公社郊边大队。1960年并县后称白水公社郊边大队。[3]

1984年起定名郊边村，1993年改为龙海市白水镇郊边村委会。[3]

经济[edit]

村内以种植杨梅为主，兼营生猪养殖，并外出承包种植毛豆等蔬菜。[1]

2022年9月，郊边村被认定为漳州市2022年度市级「一村一品」专业村（杨梅）；2023年12月，又被认定为2023年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（杨梅）。[1]
