西凤村是白水镇的行政村，与崎岎、山美、郊边等村相邻。村名源于村中的玄天上帝宫，该宫建在一处莲池边，称为「西凤宫」。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：坑西之北有龙仔山，山南有一池名为「凤（三莲）池」，玄天上帝宫建于池上，因称西凤宫。民国时以西凤宫为名设西凤保，此后沿用为村名。[2]
1947年属海澄县白水镇西凤保，新中国成立初为第五区西凤乡，1959年归浮宫公社。1960年并县后称白水公社西凤大队，1984年设西凤村，1993年龙海改市后，村委会改称龙海市白水镇西凤村委会。[3]
经济[edit]
村民多外出承包耕田种植蔬菜，也种植杨梅。[1]
