金山村在镇境东南，东侧与白礁村的潘厝社相邻，西面与鸿渐村、桥头村的寮东社连接，南面临北港出海口，北依文圃山。[1]

地名由来[edit]

新中国成立初期，金山乡政府设在金山社的宗祠内，村名由此而来。[1]

沿革[edit]

1943年隶属同安县角尾乡，编为金山保；1957年转归龙溪县东山区；1959年成为角美人民公社金山大队；1984年定名为龙海县角美镇金山村，1993年改为龙海市的村委会。[1]
