高坑村位于漳州市龙海区石码街道西南部，北面靠近紫云山。村名源于高姓在紫云山北麓的坑沟边开基，村中多为高姓聚居。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，高坑属海澄县山后乡。1958年改属海澄县莲花公社，1960年海澄、龙溪两县并为龙海县后，归石码公社高坑大队。[1][2]

1964年改属榜山公社，1984年又归石码镇，设立高坑村。全村辖高坑、罗锦、半港、文美、新厝、林坑、港口七个自然社。1993年，该村改设为龙海市石码镇高坑村委会。[1][2]

姓氏[edit]

村中高姓占多数。据博雅地名网，高姓占全村60%，高坑、半港、文美、新厝、罗锦、港口等社多为高姓聚居，其中港口社为康姓聚居，林坑社为李姓聚居。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

紫云岩又名紫云禅寺，原称石壁岩，位于紫云山上。始建年代有宋代与明代永乐年间两说。明代海澄人吕滨溪曾在此读书，后中举，回来重修寺庙。今紫云岩为紫云公园的主景区。[3]

古林岩始建于清康熙九年（1670年）。1992年10月，龙海县人民政府将其公布为第三批县级文物保护单位。[2]
