碧湖社区是漳州市龙文区碧湖街道下辖的社区，东边与湘桥村相接，南靠九龙江，与下洲社区的后坂一带接壤。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区辖有碧湖、后巷、东坂上社、下社四个自然村。因大队驻地在碧湖，1984年大队改为村时沿用了“碧湖”之名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
旧时此地归龙溪县漳滨乡的碧湖保管辖，新中国成立初期改隶龙溪县第六区碧湖乡，公社化后成为龙溪县步文公社的碧湖大队。1960年并县后，这里归龙海县步文公社，仍叫碧湖大队；1984年大队改制为步文公社下辖的碧湖村委会。1997年起隶属龙文区步文镇，2018年由碧湖街道管辖。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，碧湖社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
