下洲社区是漳州市龙文区碧湖街道下辖的社区，位于九龙江西溪北岸，与芗城区接壤。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区的名字取自九龙江下游的一处浮洲。南面隔江与龙海市颜厝镇相望，北面与芗城区毗邻。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代这里属龙溪县修滨乡，民国时属凤林保。1962年设为漳州市城郊公社下洲大队，1984年改为下洲村民委员会。1997年龙文区设立前，村子属芗城区；此后划入步文镇，2018年划归碧湖街道，同年6月改为社区居民委员会。[1][2]

2010年，为配合碧湖生态园的建设，村民整体搬迁，过渡安置于周边村庄以及芗城区、龙海市、漳浦县等地。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，下洲社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
