碧湖街道在福建省漳州市龙文区的西南部，南面隔九龙江西溪与龙海区相望。它是在步文镇的部分辖区基础上于2017年12月25日组建的，下辖14个社区。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

组建时，街道以原步文镇的四个村民委员会和七个社区居民委员会为基础，成立日期为2017年12月25日。此后，其中的村民委员会陆续改为社区居民委员会。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

街道辖区总面积约6.57平方千米。东边以九十九湾港道为界，与蓝田街道接壤；西边沿九龙大道，与芗城区毗邻；北边的新浦东路一线与步文街道相连。[1][2]

“碧湖”之名的来历是：此处地势低洼，形如湖盆；旧时当地以烧制砖瓦为副业，晾晒的砖瓦在阳光下闪亮，远望像湖面上的波光，因而得名。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

后坂天主教堂位于后坂社区，其历史可上溯至1601年（明万历二十九年）。到康熙九年，溪边路上已建起一座教堂；这座教堂在乾隆年间毁坏，1845年（道光二十五年）重建。博雅地名网将其列为龙文区文物保护单位。[5]
